Our carcasses are made with solid wood and are in a different league to those offered by many competitors, being much more durable and meaning that drawer runners and hinges are fitted much more securely. They are finished with a lacquered oak veneer on all insides to ensure they are hard-wearing. Our drawer boxes are solid oak, with dovetailed joints and soft-close mechanisms and our cupboard doors are fitted with traditional (therefore not soft-close) butt hinges. Finally, our frames, doors and drawer fronts are made of European alder, providing a solid, durable and smooth finish, which can be delivered either primed-only, or in a colour-match to your choice of any Farrow and Ball or Little Greene paint colour.
And our handleless Nordic range shares the same quality of carcass, only with 22mm lacquered MDF doors and drawer fronts (competitors typically only use 18mm MDF), also colour-matched to any Farrow and Ball or Little Greene paint colour. Unlike our Shaker ranges, Nordic cupboard doors are fitted with soft-close hinges.
This quality, durability and flexibility, allied to our really personal service isn’t cheap so we think it’s important to be upfront about the cost of a new kitchen - ours start from around £25-30,000 including cabinetry, fitting, painting, worktops, appliances, handles and cabinet lighting costs. A typical kitchen, such as the “Light and Bright Kitchen” in our Classic Designs would cost around £40-45,000, including painted cabinetry, fitting, appliances, worktops, handles, lighting and accessories.
However, we offer exceptional value when set against our high-end competitors - please book a visit to our showroom to see for yourself.
