Our cabinet styles
We offer two distinctive ranges of cabinetry: Shaker (with three variations available) and Nordic.
Our Classic Shaker range is exactly what the name suggests: a classically simple, in-frame, Shaker-style cabinet.
The Country Shaker range has additional beading and detailing around the doors and drawers, for a more traditional look.
Or you may prefer our Contemporary Shaker range, with flat-fronted drawers and Shaker doors.
Finally, our Nordic range is a contemporary, true-handless range featuring smooth-lacquered doors and drawer fronts, with oak rails and plinths for a warm, handleless option.

How are they made?
Our carcasses are made with solid wood and are in a different league to those offered by many competitors, being much more durable and meaning that drawer runners and hinges are fitted much more securely. They are lacquered on the insides, using a UV resistant lacquer to ensure they are hard-wearing. Our drawer boxes are solid oak, with dovetailed joints and soft-close mechanisms and our cupboard doors are fitted with traditional (therefore not soft-close) butt hinges. Finally, our frames, doors and drawer fronts are made of solid wood, providing a solid, durable and smooth finish, which can be delivered either primed-only, or in a colour-match to your choice of any Farrow and Ball or Little Greene paint colour.
And our handleless Nordic range shares the same quality of carcass, only with 22mm lacquered MDF doors and drawer fronts (competitors typically only use 18mm MDF), also colour-matched to any Farrow and Ball or Little Greene paint colour. Unlike our Shaker ranges, Nordic cupboard doors are fitted with soft-close hinges.
Our drawers are made from solid oak, with dovetailed joints and the highest-quality runners.
And our cabinetry can be as bespoke as you like to fit into any space or be configured just how you’d like it.
What do our kitchens cost?
We think it’s really important to be upfront about what our kitchens cost. Our thoughtful designs, solid wood cabinetry and genuinely personal, local service offer outstanding value for money and mean that your kitchens and other spaces will last you a lifetime.
A typical, small kitchen will cost about £25-30,000 including cabinetry, appliances, worktops, handles, lighting, accessories, cabinet painting, fitting and VAT. A medium-sized kitchen, such as the Light and Bright kitchen shown below, would be about £40-45,000, whilst a large kitchen might cost £55-60,000.
In our experience, the cabinetry typically makes up about half the price of a kitchen, with the other elements making up the remainder. However, if you opt for higher-spec appliances, for example, then this will change the balance.
These are just guide figures, as every kitchen is different and the price will depend heavily on the level of specification. The above prices include a mid-to-high level of specification for all elements including quality appliances (typically Siemens or similar), quartz worktops and higher spec items such as boiling taps and a wine fridge.
We’d be happy to give you a guide price for the cabinetry for your project based on any existing kitchen plans or even just your architect’s plans, with no obligation - feel free to get in touch.
