PROJECT: Classic Period English Kitchen | LOCATION: Farnham| YEAR: 2020

We had a feeling this would be a special kitchen for us from the very beginning. The brief was clear; our client wanted a practical, timeless kitchen for family living and entertaining. And since then it’s become one of our favourite kitchens in our portfolio. This space boasts lots of features that make it that extra bit special. We especially love the blurring of the lines between the kitchen and garden and the amount of light that brings.

We created a classic design that blended in with the rest of the extensive house renovations that were being undertaken. A gorgeous Country Shaker, hand-painted kitchen includes a large island that houses a Belfast double sink with Quooker boiling tap, integrated dishwasher and bins, plus a wine cooler. The island was painted in Farrow & Ball Stiffkey Blue. 

The Rangemaster range forms the centrepiece of the main run of units with a sympathetically hidden Fisher and Paykel extractor above. The range is complemented by a bi-fold door butler's pantry and spacious double door larder cupboard, all painted in Farrow & Ball French Grey.

We love the little details in this kitchen, especially the tiny cupboards either side of the Range which add character, practical storage for cooking oils and sources and a certain charm to the beautiful, clean lines of this kitchen.
